  • Exciting Changes Coming

    We are pleased to announce a couple of technology updates that will improve our communication in many ways, as well as a new membership class. New online access for connecting with people who are connected to First Baptist Church. This is a great tool for communicating Small Group information, Ministry group schedules and events such as training, identifying a need and recruiting people who are gifted/skilled in specific areas and so much more.

  • Shelter In The Storm

    We are extremely excited to share with you all a new ministry that will be operational this winter. Roger Stockwell, one of our elders, has assembled a team of passionate and motivated people to develop our first ever Warming Shelter here at First Baptist Church. This ministry will function as an overflow to the Aid For Friends shelter here in Pocatello.

Food Pantry Info

God is GREAT! We have been awarded a grant from the Walmart Corporation to aid us in our food relief efforts. We will be expanding our area as well as expanding our service times.

For those in need - ANYONE in need in the community OR the church, our hours of operation are:

Tuesday, 1:30 to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

If you are interested in serving on this team in any capacity, please contact the church office at 232-6305.

12:30 - 2:30 Lunch & childcare provided

Do you have questions about First Baptist Church, our beliefs and values? Have you been pondering membership but want a little more information? Or have you been thinking about getting baptized and want some clarification?

This one-day workshop will answer all your questions about membership, First Baptist values and baptism. Lunch will be provided as well as childcare. Please indicate how many will be attending AND the number of kids needing care.

You can sign up on the communication card on Sunday or call the church office at 232-6305.
